Lookout Mountain Bagpipes is out of Rising Fawn, GA. We'd love to make your event special. We have a vast knowledge of Celtic, Scottish and Irish tunes. Experience is from a young age. I play Weddings, Funerals and Parties. We have played in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace and for President Obama, telecast worldwide. If you do not know the tune just hum it, list a movie you have heard it in or just give me the name of the request and i will probably know it. You are the boss. Whatever and whenever you wish will be played. My library is vast and if I do not know a request tune, far be it, it can be learned and memorized in a few days or quicker. My experience in dealing with all kinds of people and all kinds of situations is a paramount to a perfect wedding. I have played all types of weddings, from traditional to Hindu, Japanese, and others. The last thing you need is an inexperienced piper that probably does not know the tune you wish , is telling you what to do to accommodate himself and his ineptness of the situation. Trust me , I have seen this happen many times. The one thing that really bothers me about bagpipers is that a lot do not know how to properly tune, balance and harmonize their bagpipes. The bagpipes that are used is a set of 80 year old P. Hendersons. These were chosen for their harmonic sound as well as their durability. The last thing any wedding party needs is an expensive musician that cannot tune properly. When and if you have ever heard an ill tuned bagpipe play and then an expert tuner, you can tell the difference. Sadly to say most people think that the sound they hear from a badly tuned set of pipes is the norm. It is not. I have been playing and tuning for many years. I also have had my hand at importing bagpipes , where I learned to tune a set of pipes according to the skill level of the player. Not a dealer anymore, just a player. If you want the best you can get for the price then I am your man. I believe that I can satisfy every need you want in a professional bagpiper. I think that my service will fulfill your needs.
